Fulton Leadership Academy is a Title I School. Title I is a federal program with the purpose of increasing achievement of disadvantage students. As a Title I school, we have a District/School Improvement Plan and a Parent Involvement Policy that focuses on improvement of student achievement at our school. 


Title I funds at FLA impact the educational experience of the entire school by boosting the budget for teaching and learning. The federal grant money helps to fund a variety of services from Saturday school to after school homework help and related programs. (Public schools with a population that is at least 40 percent low income can use grant funds to impact all students.) Currently, 60 percent of FLA scholars meet the income requirements to receive free and discounted lunch at school.If you think that your scholar qualifies for the federal lunch program, please download the application here.


Every spring, a comprehensive needs assessment is completed to identify areas of weakness for improvement planning. Stakeholders are invited to participate in the needs assessment and improvement planning process.
